Part of Broker / Staff Basic Training.

Use Financial Statistics for brokerage-wide or per-realtor earnings, deductions, and expenses by month. Use Reports for analytics, compliance exports, and operational dashboards. This module shows how to read both without leaving the training flow.

Contents

Open Financial Statistics

  1. Open Reports → Financial Statistics.
  2. The page loads with your last date range when you have used it before.
  3. Brokers, accountants, finance managers, and team leaders with team financial access see a realtor dropdown at the top right.

Choose realtor scope and dates

  1. Select All Realtors for brokerage-wide totals, or pick one agent to scope the report and unlock payment-level detail.
  2. In Filter Results, set Date From and Date To (format YYYY-MM-DD).
  3. Click Search to reload the report.

Selecting a different realtor reloads the page; your date range is remembered.

Read the period summary

The Total Summary panel aggregates the filtered period:

  • Deals Completed, Firm Deals, Conditional Deals, Listings Obtained
  • Gross Commission Income and Other Income
  • Total Brokerage Deductions (Pre-Tax) and Total Third-Party Deductions (Pre-Tax)
  • Total Expenses (Pre-Tax)
  • Net Income for Period, net tax (GST/HST or your brokerage tax label), and Total Net Payment for Period

Negative amounts appear in red. Use this panel for a quick health check before drilling into months.

Drill into monthly totals

The Monthly Statistics table lists each month in the range with linked columns:

  • Deals Completed — opens a modal listing closed deals with deal numbers and accrual dates
  • Gross Commission — commission earned detail for the month
  • Other Income — non-commission income such as mentor fees
  • Deductions and Expenses — pre-tax lines filtered by type
  • Net tax and Net Payment — calculated totals for the month

Click any linked amount to open the matching modal for that month. Use modal links to open related deals or listings when shown.

Expand payment detail for one agent

When a single realtor is selected and the month has payments:

  1. Click the month row chevron to expand Agent History Earnings detail.
  2. Payment rows expand to show Commission, Deduction, and Expense line items.
  3. Total Expense rows expand to individual expense lines.
  4. An asterisk (*) on a category denotes a partially paid expense.

This view reconciles what Deduction Tracker and Expense Tracker show against actual commission payments.

Download stats for one agent

When one realtor is selected, use Download to export PDF or Excel for that agent and date range — useful for year-end reviews or agent meetings.

Open the Reports hub

  1. Open Reports → Reports.
  2. Choose a report from the category-grouped Report dropdown — only reports enabled for your brokerage appear.
  3. Changing the report reloads the page with that report's filter panels and results layout.

Categories include Accounting, Compliance, Head Office, Performance, and Workflow — examples include Commissions, Sales Volume, FINTRAC, Trade Record Sheets, and Open Transactions.

Run a report and export results

  1. Set Date From and Date To when the report uses a date range (some reports use a single Date field or allow empty dates).
  2. Select Office when multi-office is enabled and the report supports it.
  3. Adjust report-specific filters that appear below the common bar.
  4. Submit the filter form to load results.
  5. Sort by clicking column headers when supported.
  6. Use Export or spreadsheet download when the report provides it.

Save a filter set for repeat use

When Saved Views is available on a report:

  1. Set filters to the combination you run monthly or weekly.
  2. Save the view with a descriptive name.
  3. Reload the saved view next time instead of re-entering dates and office selections.

Dashboard widgets may also link directly to pre-filtered report URLs your brokerage configured.
